When I was about five - I used to imagine that if I could get a giant paper airplane up into one of the big pine trees out in front of the house... I could climb in, push off and fly out of that tree and all around the field out front the way my paper airplanes would fly. That was the way events unfolded in my imagination.

Sometimes you do crave a little quiet time!

I started out wanting to create an image that shows -tongue in cheek- how artists have had to adapt to new tools (if the same audience)

That idea was to be a split screen with a cave artist having fun and then (me) in front of a monitor holding a digital pen... But I only got as far as the cave artist - and decided that would be enough.

Then it occurred to me that plants really adapt themselves to the strangest places - always looking for light. Much better! Not so much of a reach! Or I should say a more natural reach;)
